The Forsthaus

Today's forester's lodge was inhabited as early as the 18th century. In addition to the main house and a small barn, there was a pigsty and a fruit dryer. In the middle of the 19th century it became part of the Castell estate. The rulers had the house demolished in 1876 and a forester's lodge built in its place. On November 2, 1877, the royal Bavarian government officially changed the name. From then on the property was called the Forsthaus and was inhabited by the respective forester of the Castell princes until 1982.

The unique ambience for your holiday includes the Forsthaus 1 (home of the landlady) and the Forsthaus 2 (your holiday home with 85 sqm) separated by a barn. Garden, riding arena, paddock and paddocks are part of the spacious area, as well as car and bicycle parking space. Separate car entrance and house access, as well as your own private garden with breakfast and barbecue area guarantee you the highest level of privacy.

Old, refurbished wooden floors and doors, high ceilings, lattice windows with a view of the forest and meadows, lovingly designed furnishings, Swedish stoves and a mobile sauna guarantee your relaxation.
